Fantastic performance today where we looked to try and correct our issues from last week by implementing what we have worked on in training - pressing. We worked tirelessly last week with the subject only to see it not being implemented today - which is what caused us issues again.

First half we were phenomenal. A threat everytime we went forward and I must hand it to Immy and Ellis - they were instrumental in how we played. The through balls, the passes around the pitch and the interceptions they made were so vital to how we played and how we scored our goals. A real midfield duo performance.

Having individuals like this in the midfield makes the jobs of Maurice, Zak, Karam and Riley just ten times easier as they can stay a little higher than usual. This resulted in us constantly pushing the opposition back and they had to stay alert as we were such a threat. Our attacking four (doesn't matter who they were) were amazing going forward and took their chances early which is what we've been looking for for some time. Stopping our attackers trying to dribble it into the goal has been ongoing for months and months but this newly built team has been quick to learn and now goals are coming thick and fast.

Defence were on fire today. Extremely strong and if I'm honest the four goals wasn't really down to the defence or any mistakes they made. The goals came from our two wingers at the time not coming back to support defence and on two occasions it resulted in us being underloaded facing up to five attacking players. Again today with Erin's leg not being 100% we had to keep moving players around to try and form some kind of working team and it wasn't difficult - I'm no longer worried about who we put there as I know they'll all do an amazing job - and they did.

I'm genuinely proud of the team again this week.

They really have worked hard and the smiles on their faces throughout just shows how much they are enjoying their football.
